Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Island situated off the coast of Spain, in the Mediterranean. It is serviced by numerous operators advertising low cost flights throughout the year. Palma airport is a short taxi ride to Puert Portals, where the boat is moored. The beautiful island boasts an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. In summer the average temperature is 23º Celsius. Rain is an almost unknown phenomenon during summer. The rainy season is in the winter, but even then that is sporadic, especially in the south of the island!

Mallorca the fifth Balearic Island benefits from 80 golden sandy beaches, the panoramic landscapes of the Tramuntana mountains, Joan Miro and contemporary art to die for. Its fascinating history includes big historical figures like Christopher Columbus who grew up on Majorca, and an array of settlement influences including Roman, Moorish, Christian and more recently tourism.

Visitors have long been fascinated by local famous historic monuments such as the Cathedral, Bellver Castle, the Royal Palace, "Sa Llotja", the Gran Hotel, the Museum of Mallorca and an array of monasteries, watch towers, cloisters, churches, town halls and museums which Mallorca's fifty-two towns and villages feature.
